Optional Tour on Monday, August 3, 2015:

Two different pest management tours are available and each will be filled on a first come, first-serve basis. Each tour will cost $50. Please indicate which tour you want on the fillable registration form or printable registration form. Please note: Fillable Form works best in Internet Explorer browser.

Tour 1: Pest Control in Turf, Structures & Zoos Philadelphia Zoo

This tour will be within the city limits and will take us to either Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles, or their practice facility (depends on practice schedule); then to the Historical District; and finally to the Philadelphia Zoo in the afternoon. This non-ag tour will highlight some unique issues and considerations when doing pest control at these sites. We have built in some extra time for you to enjoy the zoo on your own before we leave.

Tour 2: Pest Control in Grapes, Mushroom Houses and Ornamental Gardens flowers

This tour will go outside of the city to tour a Penns Woods Winery; then to Phillips Mushrooms Farms; and finally to Longwood Gardens. This ag tour is collection of common agriculture—vineyards—to a very Pennsylvania-specific crop—mushrooms. After our tour at Longwood Gardens, which is one of the premier arboretums in the country, you will have extra time to enjoy the grounds on your own before we leave.
